Lesser Shortwing

A rare and fortunate encounter in a quite deserted path along heavy shrubs. The Lesser Shortwing of peninsualr Malaysia (6 degree South) is unique, instead of the expected brown plumage, they turn up in blue! Interestingly, unlike their bright brown species, their legs seemed to be all black, not orange.
